Another Ventosa image from the Ross Bay Cemetery. I am enjoying this so much. As I drive around in my day I am constantly looking for “Ventosa Worthy” foto opps! And below is my very 1st Ventosa Mirror image!
My wife Kathy tagged along for a day of photography in Victoria last weekend. All of you photography widows out there will know what an act of supreme supreme sacrifice that is!! We hit the Legislature, Inner Harbour, Chinatown, Ross Bay Cemetery, and Hatley Castle. Here are a few Ventosa’s and other shots from a lovely day of photography with my lovely.
Sometimes you get lucky and find some moments during a busy work day to take some pictures. And sometimes the light just happens to be good at the same time (BONUS)! A trip to Denman Island never hurts either!
Do you remember when you first learnt how to make selectively desaturated images? I’m pretty sure it’s been almost 20 years for me. I’m sure it was somebody at the Harbour City Photography Club but can’t remember who. The technique stuck with me though the years and every once in a while I see a scene that just cries out “please please selectively desaturate me Brad”! This is the City Hall in Duncan.
