It's a bit of a drive but I really enjoy shooting sunrises at Ship's Point Park up in Fanny Bay. For some reason there always seems to be interesting clouds there? Anyways I really enjoy all the rocks and how the appearance changes as the tide goes in or out. Also one of the locals showed me another local beach with very interesting lines of shale going out into the water. Here are some images from a recent morning up there.
Got to Neck Point Park around 5:30am this morning. I was gambling on one of those crazy sunrises like we had last week! But it turned out all the colour in the sky we were going to get, was actually about an hour before the sunrise! I did manage a couple of 5 minute plus long exposures which was nice.
So this is my 1st image ever, processed with Topaz Impression. I've seen other images processed with this filter and liked some of them a lot. It started out as a 6 shot panorama which I processed in LR Classic and then worked on in Photoshop CC, and finally Topaz Studio. I like the effect it has on the buildings and stonework. I would imagine there will be more Impression images coming. Just a warning, that's all!
