I stopped on the way home from work tonight to do my first real star photography with the Sony A7S. I went up to the Little Mountain lookout in Parksville and played around for an hour or so. These two images are 30 second exposures, ISO 2000, at F4. The noise at ISO 2000 is almost non-existent. I applied about 20% on the luminance slider in Lightroom. I can't wait to get my Rokinon 14mm 2.8 and start capturing even more of the night sky!
