I'm always going on about how one of my favourite times for landscape photography is just after a good storm. Well today was proof of why I believe in that! The aftermath of last night's rain and wind meant lovely mist and clouds rolling around this morning. I had to go Up-Island early this morning but had just enough time to stop at the Little Mountain viewpoint in Parksville for a few shots. The light was a little dull but it was just lovely looking down at the rolling fog covering parts of the Valley. Here are my two favourite shots from this morning. Also here's a hint to anyone that has been to Little Mountain. Don't just take pictures at the first viewpoint. Explore the trails and you will find some more hidden viewpoints! Specially ones facing towards the Southeast that have some wonderful views and are also great for sunrises!
