This weekend I went to a spot on the E&N Railway tracks down by the German Club in Nanaimo. I know you can usually get some great fall foliage shots there. Unfortunately I was a day late. A storm had come through the night before and had blown a lot of the leaves off the tunnel of maple trees that line the tracks. Still I took a few shots and experimented a bit with my perspective on the scene. Later I processed the image in Lightroom and Photoshop and then used Topaz Adjust, NIK Color Efex, and my new favorite filter, NIK Analog Efex, to add some creative effects to the image. I named the image "The Walking Dude" in honor of Randall Flagg, one of the most deliciously evil characters ever in my favorite Stephen King novel "The Stand". Hope you like what I did with it!
