So Monday brought a most welcome (but very small) break from the never-ending procession of storms that have been pounding the West Coast of British Columbia lately. My foto-buddy Jurgen Schwerdt and I took advantage of this break to get out and do some night photography down at the harbour. It was actually a great night to be out photographing! There were nice cloud patterns in the sky, a wonderful blue hour, and the harbour itself was bustling with activity. A large fleet of gill-netters were in port unloading their catches of slimy hook-nosed chum salmon from a late net fishery. Here are a few of my favorite shots from a really nice night out.
