Sometimes I wonder if I will ever get tired of photographing seascapes at sunrise? I don't think I ever will, to be honest. I know some photographers consider it "postcard" material. But it's hard to put into words my fascination with, and love for, this time of day. I just love watching the stars fade away as the night sky slowly turns into beautiful delicate shades of purple and red in the hour leading up to the sunrise. It never fails to amaze me as to what our camera sensors see! And then when you are rewarded with a brilliant sunrise like we got this morning, you totally feel justified for dragging your sorry butt out of a warm bed and out into the chilly darkness. This morning Sean Sherstone and myself photographed the amazing sunrise from Neck Point Park. I hope you enjoy some of my images from a very enjoyable and beautiful morning!
