I went up to Parksville to photograph the Canada Day Fireworks. What had been a reasonably nice day turned into a cold, howling windstorm with some precipitation thrown in for good measure! About half the crowd left before the fireworks and those that stayed were huddled under blankets and umbrellas and whatever other shelter they could find. I only took 6 or so images before I simply surrendered and turned my camera off and watched the show with everyone else. Talk about a fair weather photographer!
