Do you remember when you first learnt how to make selectively desaturated images? I’m pretty sure it’s been almost 20 years for me. I’m sure it was somebody at the Harbour City Photography Club but can’t remember who. The technique stuck with me though the years and every once in a while I see a scene that just cries out “please please selectively desaturate me Brad”! This is the City Hall in Duncan.
I really need to work on my orb spinning skills! It is harder than you think to spin a nice round orb of light. Using the #balloflight helps though! Here are some shots from last night at the famous old Butter Church outside of Duncan. Thanks to fotobuddy Sean Sherstone for coming out and helping spin!
